Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 RKC 110

Strengths:
Strong vocal and brightness very detailed and well on axis responce cant get no better. Plus it looks really cool with the bridge twetter! Radical design. Im running it very well at 40 watts with carefull equalizing at 1/3 octave curves. EXCELLENT!!!

Weaknesses:
None that I have found except maybe no low end responce or bass but what can you espect for a 4" speaker. And maybe a bit of a problem in shallow spaces since it is a very deep speaker.

Summary:
Excellent speaker which really is a seperate componet system made together with a high and low crossover. These sound wonderfull and larger than life sound compared to their small size. Reproduces sound sharply and well detailed; but of course their MB Quart, never heard a 4" speaker sound like these! Excellent mid and bright crisp high!

Similar Products Used:
Polk MOMO, Diamond Audio, Boston Acoustics, JBL I feel the MB Quarts are better!

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $200.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1990 Mazda 626 GT

Strengths:
Quality, construction, component separates in a single unit, high power handling

Weaknesses:
none really.

Summary:
These speakers are fantastic! They are rated at 30-80 RMS, and I had 80 watts RMS going into each little 4" speaker, and they sounded amazing. Very clean, very loud, great speakers. It was hard to find good speakers since the only possible location (without modification) is in the front dash. These speakers sounded great, but definitely need external power... they really do need at least 30 rms watts each. I definitely recommend these speakers.

Similar Products Used:
Polx EX402A -- great for the money, but upgraded to external power and needed higher power handling.
