These tweeters are 25mm voice coils versus the standard 20mm voice coils found by other brand names. Though they are made in China, they're designed in the U.S.A. My car audio system is powered by Sony amplifiers and will definitely say that these tweeters sound clear without distortion with the volume up loud. They have a lower than usual frequency response of 1k-20khz, which does wonders for clarity. Most tweeters are 2k-20khz; that extra 1k of frequency is noticeable. Priced at only $15 per pair, with power handling and sound quality matched to well known brands such as JBL, Kicker, Pioneer, etc; I recommend these tweeters to enhance any sound system that is fully amplified.
