If anyone want to build a truly high performance component system at affordable price, this midrange speaker is the one to buy. This list price for this speaker is high, but you can get it cheap from some website. I''ve bought this speaker about 4 months now, everyday when I get in car, I just got addicted to this speaker''s midbass sound. I used this speaker as the midbass in my front component system of my car. This speaker deliver strong, clean, well-defined midbass and low bass. The speaker can play bass down to 26hz. At first, I thought that if I turn up the volume, this speaker must get distorted at bass down to 26hz, but I was surprised by the result. My car''s amp is 50x4, I turn the volume almost to the end to test this speaker. When I turn it up, the bass didn''t distorted, instead, it kept getting tighter and more powerful. The bass came out of it like a 6x9 speaker. I heard the sound spectrum from midbass to low bass with absolutely no distortion. All I can say about this speaker is that it deliver amazing power handling and sound. Just add a good tweeter to this, and you will heard the whole awsome spectrum sound. I have polk dx 3000 tweeter with this, the result are the best.
