Summary:
I bought these speakers because I wanted something that could handle high watts. I dont like pyle but I figured since they are coaxial speakers and only play mid to highs that they would be fine. The first week or two i had them I thought for sure that I did right. These speakers scream. You could hear my system for blocks away --besides the bass. You could hear the words and everything crystal clear. I had them on a 800 watt crunch amp(turned about 1/4 way gain) with high pass filter going thru an equalizer and a x-over. Well after a couple of weeks the tweeters blew. They sound great if I turn my subs off. You can crank it up as loud as you can handle it and they are crystal clear. But when you turn the subs on, the tweeters unbearably distort at every bass note. I swear that the vibration from the subs blew the tweeters. I am very disapointed at this. Well I messed with them for a while and disconnected the tweeters since I already have tweeters and they sound great now.

Strengths:
Very loud crystal clear, very good quality highs and mids. Will handle a lot of watts***Read the weaknesses first though.

Weaknesses:
Vibration from powerful subs will blow the tweeters out.

Similar Products Used:
Blaupunkt 6"x8"--way better but wont handle the watts
