Review 1 of 2 , from Denver, Colorado, USA

Price Paid:  $20.00 from Teptronics

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Pyramid 5577 speakers

Strengths:
None

Weaknesses:
Where do I begin?

Summary:
These speakers are crap, plain and simple. They're suppossedly rated for 200 watts each which would cause one to assume they can at least handle 30 without a tremendous amount of distortion. I hooked them up to a Pioneer 20 watt RMS per channel amplifier and one of them blew. And they sounded tinny and horrible up to that point. I can't say I'm totally surprised though. You get what you pay for and everything that comes out of China is crap. I have yet to find an exception.
