Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $110.00 from www.ikesound.com

Summary:
If u r looking for a 6x9 that hits bass better than anyother, then this is the 6x9 for u. Not only does it have amazing bass but the treble and mids are very nice aswell. I have heard many speakers, but these literally astounded me how nice they sound. My sound is much more lively now. They seriously made me debate on whether or not i wanted a sub anymore. I still got one, but just that fact is kinda rattling.

Strengths:
Bass!!!!!! Easy to install, just sound great all-around. (I mainly only listen to rock/alternative/punk/rap) Buy these speakers, u wont regret it!

Weaknesses:
none yet

Similar Products Used:
JL (close but the bass isnt there), Eclipse (not quite as loud but still a great speaker), Infinity Kappa (weak for the high price), Infinity reference (not bad for the price, but dont compare to the

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $113.00 from Ebay

Summary:
Great speakers. Great bass. Highs were a little too harsh at high volunme for my tase, so I turned down the cutoff freq on my amp. The harsh highs were partly due to my sound staging though. I would strongly recommend running these off of an external amp, not the deck if you want to really see what they can do. But if you dont care for really loud speakers, then even at lower powers these speakers are worht the money. Their balance is excellent and highs sound great at a casual listening volume.

Strengths:
High power handling. Well balanced sound.

Weaknesses:
Needs proper sound staging or equilizer setting, otherwise highs and mids will drown out other speakers. High can sometimes be a little harsh, but only at very high volumes, which is what most speakers are like.

Similar Products Used:
Polk makes very good speakers too.

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $75.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 1369

Summary:
Both my roommate and I put a pair of these in our cars. I complimented mine with 6.5 FNX components in the front. These 6x9s add good bass to go with my fronts and they don't muddy up the sound quality. I was very impressed with the amount of bass that these 6x9s put out. Go to a stereo store and listen to a pair. I have not heard anything better in a long time.

Strengths:
Very well built speakers. All frequencies are covered. Can be very loud.

Weaknesses:
None

Similar Products Used:
Nothing in the price range of 75 -125 will come close.
