from Audio store selling Year / Model Reviewed: 2002 Dodge Dakota Club Cab 4x4 Strengths: *Clear, clean highs from tweeter
*Bass in most cases, as long as volume is kept at a reasonalbe level, is clean and low.
*Cheap, most places sell for about $70 Weaknesses: *Woofer distorts at too low of a volume in songs that have punchy bass. (eg. some pop, rap) Summary: I installed these in the OEM rear locations of an '02 Dakota and power them from an MTX 4244. For most music, they sound great. They have the RF signature crystal clear highs, and they had more bass than I expected from a middle quality range 6.5" speaker. I listen to many different types of music, usually with stereo power only at half volume. With most music they have very clean, punchy as well as low bass and the tweeter blends nicely. I would not suggest this speaker for RAP without at least a bass-blocker capacitor. At the same volume setting that most other music sounds great, RAP tends to push this speaker too hard and distort the bass very often.
Nice budget rear fill for RF Fanatic Q front soundstage. Similar Products Used: Rockford Fosgate FRC2369 (6x9), Rockford Fosgate 2203 (3.5")
