Price Paid:  $23.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Sony XS-W5721

Summary:
Good speaker, low price. Looks very nice.

Strengths:
Very easy installation. They dropped right into my Explorer, no problems at all. These speakers have plenty of treble. The built in tweeters won't quite hurt your ears, but they pump out plenty of high notes. Good, clean sound for under $30. Pretty loud under the right conditions...

Weaknesses:
Low RMS wattage (45w). My stereo pumps out 52w max, 23 RMS, and the speakers get extremely distorted at high volume. In order to get o.k. sound at high volume you have to turn the low, mid, and hi all the way down to recognize the song.
