- Polypropylene Cone: A durable plastic-based material which exhibits low mass for good transient response, rigid structural integrity for low distortion, and high internal loss for accurate sound reproduction without excessive "ringing". Withstands the extremes of the autosound environment well.
- Dome Tweeter Offers superior dispersion characteristics for better imaging and staging. Additionally, it employs a larger voice coil for better power handling.
- 6dB/Oct Crossover Separates high and low frequency components of the audio signal and sends each to the appropriate component. Since each component speaker only reproduces those frequencies it's optimized for, better sound reproduction is realized.
- 5x7" Plate Mount Converts many standard 5x7" factory speaker locations to accept a 5" round woofer and separate tweeter for better sound quality.
