Strength:

No puddles, just disappearing. It ran funny a few times and the "Check Engine" light came on and went off a few times. But I thought it was the gas cap was not tight enough. Since it went off, I didn't worry about it. mobile truck repair

Strength:

The only weakness is that you can switch from short ram to cold air, but it's not like you can do it in 5 minutes. Its not something u do very time its going to rain. Its more like something to do from season to season, if you would like. Topeka Semi Truck Engine Repair

Strength:

Great SQ and great SPL. Definately worth the price, even if it were more money

Weakness:

Shakes the crap out of my 99 eclipse, now I need dynamat. It makes my CD player skip when it hits.

Once I installed 2 of these simple yet sexy 12" speakers and broke them in they hit like no other. Sure other subs might be louder but I've had loud speakers before and I much prefer the quality that these things put out. I installed with an MTX Thunder81000D mono block amp. These subwoofers are loud, but they are also very quick and very precise and I have yet to get them to clip or distort.

Strength:

Excellent SQ, able to keep up with your mids/mid bass. A single piece can achieve at least 120dB and up. Although high in power requirements, the sensitivity is high at 93dB. Looks great too, if you have neon lights reflecting over the aluminium (mine is white) surface.

Weakness:

Not much.

a/d/s 312rs.2. Mine is not black but white and dark silver in color. Like mentioned by the rest, the musicality and precision is astonishing. I'm currently running an Xtant A6001 amp at 600w into 2 ohms and you must have guessed by now that it sounds wonderful. These subs can SPL but don't expect it to go a loud as say, a JL W6. SQ wise the 312rs.2 wins hands down compared to most.

Strength:

It is definitly the most musical sub I have ever heard. I work in a retail environment of consumer electronics native to South Florida, so I've heard good, bad, very bad, and in between. However when I went looking for a musical car stereo subwoofer I had to go back home to New York to find it. I have 2 of the a/d/s 312's powered by Zapco amps(really not enough power for them to be extremely heavy low bass) for musicality and playing with an extremely crisp full sound they are unbeatable. I listened to JL audio and Infinity in cars and in showrooms before purchasing and these just blew them out of the water. Crisper clearer and able to hit deep bass with a more natural sound.

Weakness:

Requires way too much power. My voltmeter in my car takes a dive on any deep bass hits and Im still not using as much power as it would like.

paid just under 200 each

Strength:

Speed, depth, tonal balance

Weakness:

None I can think of

I had 2 of these subs in a 2.5ft sealed box running at 1 ohm to my ESX 475 monoblock which roughly gave out 1000+ watts total to them. These are by far the best sounding subs I have heard to date. Compared to the JL, Audiobahn, Infinity, Shiva, this woofer just beats in the musicality department. They don't even come close. This woofer is the tightest sounding woofer I have come across so far. The brands listed above just lag behind when it comes to the speed. I can't stress enough about how fast this woofer sounds. In my comparisons, the closest would be the HSU research sub. But that woofer took up too much space and was just a pace behind in speed. If music is your priority, you CAN'T be disappointed with the purchase of these subs. I think these are the best woofers you can buy for music under $200 period. They play loud, but don't expect to win spl competitions with them. If you want loudness, go with the Shivas, their bottom end output is 2nd to none. Too bad the 1week after I installed them, they got stolen.

Strength:

It is the most musical sub I have ever heard. The transient response is unbelievable. My box size for two is 1.5 cubic ft., but they are optimized for a 2.5 cubic ft. enclosure. Even with the small size (which has a higher Qtc than the larger box, something I have never seen in a sub), they are still musical. When given enough power, they are really loud. The speaker wire connectors are gold plated screw down type and accept up to 12 awg wire. The cone and voice coil former are a one piece anodized aluminium type providing a great heat sink. The basket is a cast aluminium. The magnet structure is huge with a vented pole piece. The surround is made out of ruber. The instruction booklet comes with more information you will need.

Weakness:

They require 350 watts per dual voice coil. That's too much power.

I paid $200 a piece for them. I would recomend them to anyone. They will work for both the audiophile and the SPL junkie, but their best suited for precision.

Similar Products Used:

I have heard many different subs including the Infinity beta 12's. The ADS are more precise. The Infinities are more efficient and fit into a smaller box.
