Low bass.

Weakness:

Sound quality.

I built a custom V-Tech box for a 98 honda civic with 2 Infinity 1230w subs. Pushed them with a 1200 watt jbl amp and a 4 gauge wiring kit. I hit 143 decibals on the dash with these subs. I have hit more with the infity perfect 10s but for the price difference i think i wasted my money on the perfects.

Strength:

Good price for a nicely built sub. Clean bass

Weakness:

Not low enough bass play

I used one 12" infinity 1230w for a week and I think that they are ok subs. They were thumphing pretty good at the higher frequencies with my kenwood kac-7201 (460x2 @ 4 ohms) The only thing I didn't like about them was that they didn't produce low enough bass. Price for subs are good, and the materials used to build the subs are nice. Connectors on them are the screw in or pop on type and the voice coil is not made of cheap material. But since, I craved the low frequencies from the hiphop, and techno music I listen to, I decided to switch to the JL W3V2.
