Alpine SWE-1041 Subwoofers

Alpine SWE-1041 Subwoofers

DESCRIPTION

A little bit of money and a whole lot of bass — that's the story with the Type E subwoofer! Alpine's most affordable line of subs uses a responsive pulp cone reinforced with Kevlar® for strength and durability. The heavy-gauge, custom-stamped steel frame is thick to withstand the demands of hard playing. A bumped back plate keeps the sub from bottoming out, so you'll hear only "bump" from the bass! A high-excursion Santoprene rubber surround allows the most travel for powerful low-frequency response.

The Type E SWE-1041 10" subwoofer works great in sealed enclosures. Vented boxes can also be used for a bigger, boomier sound.

  • Kevlar®-treated pulp cone
  • 3/4" Santoprene rubber surround
  • dual oversized Nomex® spiders
  • frequency response 30-1,000 Hz
  • power range 50-200 watts RMS
  • peak power handling 600 watts
  • sensitivity 87 dB
  • top-mount depth 5-13/16"
  • sealed box volume: 0.6-1.25 cubic feet
  • ported box volume: 1.0-1.75
