Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $100.00 from From a Friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 SWR 1021D

Summary:
These subs deliver power as well as clarity. They hit hard and sound so clear, you will be able to shake the trunk, I am running two of these along with two Alpine 1507 amps in a sealed box. They push, all the power you need they take 1000 RMS, they will also take less if you don't have a big amp. More amps, the more power, the best subs I have ever heard!

Strengths:
Power and Clarity all together in one great sub. Hit hard and don't heat up.

Weaknesses:
NONE!!!!!!!

Similar Products Used:
Sony Explodes and Jensen, they is no compairing any other sub to these.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2003

Summary:
There must be something goin on here beacuse Alpine's swr-1041 & swr-1021d are twins, but have a HUGE sound difference, it seems that the 1021d is CRAP.! this particular sub needs enormous amout of power to run, where as the 1041's are much louder, tighter and better with any standard amp.

Strengths:
none!, dind't even run well with an alpine mrv-t420 or T757 V12.

Weaknesses:
alpine should clearly state the difference of these subs on the front cone so there is no confusion with sealed subs.
