from Good Guys Year / Model Reviewed: Infinity 1230W Summary: I used one 12" infinity 1230w for a week and I think that they are ok subs. They were thumphing pretty good at the higher frequencies with my kenwood kac-7201 (460x2 @ 4 ohms) The only thing I didn't like about them was that they didn't produce low enough bass. Price for subs are good, and the materials used to build the subs are nice. Connectors on them are the screw in or pop on type and the voice coil is not made of cheap material. But since, I craved the low frequencies from the hiphop, and techno music I listen to, I decided to switch to the JL W3V2. Strengths: Good price for a nicely built sub.
Clean bass Weaknesses: Not low enough bass play Similar Products Used: 3 10" MTX thunder6000 series, 12" JL W3V2
