I purchased 2 of these subs and they can do some damage. Im running a sony 760amp to them 150rms to each one. They are in a sealed (1.25cu ft) box. They do turn many heads and after intalling them with a friend we couldn't believe our ears. Im sure with a better amp they might even hit harder but im pleased with my purchase.

Strength:

Can take 600 watts, EXCELLENT VALUE

Weakness:

Slight lacking on SQ, not the greatest frequency curve, but the best I've heard for the price.

For those of you who think these subs can't take power... you probably have absolutely no comprehension of how an amplifier works and what the gain does. I've run a pair of these in the recommended ported box on a JBL1200.1. Thats 600 watts a peice, and I ran them for a year before I upgraded, and they never blew or showed any signs of strain. Meanwhile they nearly blew my eardrums with fairly decent sounding, very loud bass.

Loud. Deep. Inexpensive.

Weakness:

Ummmm

I just got these installed in my car a few days ago. I've got them in a Q-Logic vented bandpass box (1.96 cu ft), and I'm pushing them with an Orion 500.4 amp, bridged so each sub gets 250 watts. These babies sound sooooo nice. The bass is deep, rich, and clear. The gain on my amp is about 2/3 of the way up, and I have to turn my head unit into the 90s (out of 100) to hear any distortion. They sound great for any kind of music: rock, rap, techno, you name it.. And for the price, it's just unbelievable. There are better sounding speakers out there, but not for 45 bucks a pop. They sound SOOOOOOOOO much better than my crappy Volfenhags they replaced (DUH!).

Guys listen to me when I tell you these Subs boom! I am running 2 12' Infiniti's off a 600w Kenwood. These can handle anything I give it. My amp is tweaked to about 3/4 and the sound is unbelievable, and the Bass is even better!! If you want something that is a good price, with a good name, and has exceptional sound quality put these 12's in your ride!

Strength:

Good clarity

Weakness:

NO BASS, Cant handle much watts.

These Infiniti's suck. They say it can hold up 1200watts, it cant hold even half that. I had a 400 watt rockford and it hit 3x harder. I had 540 watts runnin to one 12 and it wouldnt push nothin. The only good thing bout these are you can hear the words good, but there isnt great bass with it. Its all looks and no show.

Strength:

LOUD, Cheap, Durable

Weakness:

Lack a little in the SQ, but you pay for what you get there. Must have them in the right enclosure, and they have slight problems below 35hz, but no biggies here for the price.

I have run these in parallel off a JBL 1200.1, with 600RMS going to each. With a 2ft ported box with 12" port. If you set the gains, right, that is.. no distortion at the max listening level, you CAN NOT blow these subs. Of course you have to have the right box and settings or you can blow any sub. My opinion is that these are underated. They absolutely pound. They blur my vision at high levels, and rattle my windshield wipers and sheet metal. I know these subs, and they are very loud, can take a LOT of power in the right setup, although sound quality is about what you pay for, being not that great, but also not bad. Definately a best buy for the price.

Poly cone so its light and keeps up. Big roll rubber, its just better than foam. double stacked strotium mags for power and a progressive spider for stabiltiy.

None to note yet

For the money @95 bucks, you can't beat this deal and Infinity quality, come on bra...I bought this sub to replace the Sony Xplode that explded out of the box. It is rated @ 300rms to about 1200w peak nterval. Well I got this runnin off a profile MSX600 mono amp and let me tell you that I can't be more pleased :) The settings that I have for it are @ 75htz, gain just under half and the BASS BOOST to +12. Very accurate on the bass reproduction no matter what level you have your music. I have it in a sealed box for now but I think that I am gonna get a single bandpass just to test the differences. BASS ON

Strength:

The name. The price. The sound.

Weakness:

None

The last review on this one is a little out there. The sub is rated at 300 watts RMS and 1200 watts peak. That means that for EXTREAMLY short intervals it can handle the 1200 watts. Of course it blew when run with a continuous 350 watts. I have been running this sub for a couple of months now with 200 watts running to it and have had no problems. The sound is clean and acurate at every volume level. I had an old MTX 15" that this sub replaced and the MTX can't even compare. This sub hits harder and lower then the old MTX ever could. I have tried most of the other subs in this price range and nothing else compares. I am planning on installing one in my wife's car once I can convince her she needs it.
