Strength:

Doesn't require much space, clean, inexpensive.

Weakness:

Not the greatest RMS handling, but then again, it doesn't require that much to sound good.

I have an '89 Jeep Wrangler, so my trunk space is somewhat limited. 6x9's and 4x6's aren't bad, but I needed SOMEthing in the low end, so I browsed Crutchfield and found the right model, then got it cheap at ebay. This thing is a bass lover's (with small space) dream come true. It will get low for a ten, doesn't require a ton of power to get loud, and plays clean. I have it in a custom built downfiring sealed box, so it's very tight, I know some people like the boom, but I haven't had time to experiment with it. My friend has the same model in the 12 inch size and it's incredible. These are not too expensive now, so if you're looking for a low price tag with decent power handling and clean sound, check them out. This one sub blows away a couple of crappy crossfires I had in a ported box. It's Infinity, come on People!

Infinity 1220w (friend's, awesome sub, if I had the space I'd get it instead) , Crossfire CF210...got these cheap, you get what you pay for.

low rms wattage

Pair these subs up..and for only 10s they sound like bombs..Im not as much into subwoofers and car audio as i used to be...but i remember blowing out subs or overpowering up with my Kenwood 600w amp..i blew out a pair of sonys...melted a pair of polks...and these bad boys stayed in tack...these subs will push as hard as u want em to push...in my taste of music bass isa must along with highs. With house music, hard trance hard house techno progressive house n trance...with out a loud booming bass...the music is crap..i just sold my 2000 Alero with all that equip in it and just bought a 2002 Altima SL..and the Bose system that comes in that car....is very shocking....so those of you who looking to buy one or already own one but have the stock RDSS 6speaker system...sorry....u missed out big time...these things fken slammmmmm fora stock system...and using 8 speakers...and no subwoofer? my fathers lexus gs sounds like nuddin compared to this......but back to the subs for the main point...u cant go wrong wid em...plus their infinitys...so how wuld u go wrong...my suggestion...the big bang for ur buck widout using up a lot of space wouold be to go the BassLink

Strength:

These subs rock, they hit hard and accurate and have good RMS and PEAK power

Weakness:

None so far

I have two 10's of these in a Q-logic box and they pound. Got them on sale at Circuit City for $99 for 2. Infinity did a good job making an affordable sub with great bass.

Strength:

Price($60~ @ Circuit City), SQ is amazing and the SPL is great. Powering them with a JBL Powervalve 600.1 amp giving them 300watts each @ 2ohm, ive spent $160 on them with a 3 year warranty, and i plan on keeping them for 3 more years. BTW - my HU messes up before my subs do, these work GREAT with the JBL amp, i have them in a 2.0Cu box with 1.0cu in each chamber

Weakness:

nothing for what class they are in.

ive had these for a while and i love them, great subs for the money.

MTX 4k's and Sony subs(friend) - these are *much* better.

Strength:

price, quality, appearace, 12mm xmax(looking at them makes you dizzy)

Weakness:

can bottom out at high volumes, but thats expected with a factory deck and sony amp.

i have two of these great subs in the back of my firebird. they're running off of a sony xm-1600gsd 600x2 amp. at 300 watts a piece, they're hitting as hard as ever. EXCELLENT subs for the price, INFINITY has awesome sq and decent spl. i will be upgrading to kappa perfects but will not leave the infinity family of woofers behind. RECOMENDED if you can find them cheap!!!!

Strength:

HITS HARD!!! makes my ears hurt alot (yes it is a good thing) Infinity quality

Weakness:

Only thing i dont like a whole lot is that it takes some time to break in and be able to turn up to high volumes without distorting... but hey all subs take a while.

Let me tell you... this sub HITS! It is comparable to my friends 2 12s even when I have half the wattage he does! It is an amazing peice of work even with as little as 110 watts RMS to it, I'm going to buy another 1020W to go behind the other side of the seat in my single cab toyota 4wd pickup, along with a JBL BP600.1 (300 watts RMS a channel).

Strength:

Very accurate bass reproduction.

Weakness:

none that I know of. But I'm just a neophyte audiophile.

I have one of these in a sealed enclosure in the back of my Nissan Altima. This is my first sub but I'm very happy with the improvement in sound quality. This even handled some of my hard hitting jungle music I had laying around. Highly recommended for 70 bucks. I'm running it on a 150 watt bridged Jensen amp.

Strength:

Everything, high excursion limit, high power capabilities, and almost perfect sound quailty.

Weakness:

None as long as you run a good amount of power

These subs knock with the right amount of power going to them. I have 800watts running each sub and they pound at high volume levels with no distortion. These subs are great to start with and build up and not having to spend a fortune.
