Strength:

Excellant Sound Quality.
Hits hard and Fast.

Weakness:

Not the loudest subs around.

I bought two of these subs extremely cheap on ebay and they sound awesome... They pound hard and fast - drum beats are awe inspiring. They are not however the loudest subs around, if you are looking for high output subs these are not for you.

Strength:

Very good SQ and little cone noise

Weakness:

SPL - pretty lacking Barely plays frequencies below 30hz

I used it in my car for about a year and a half then moved on to something bigger and better. Overall it isn't a bad sub.

Strength:

Very nice desing and great Quality sound at recomended watage.

Weakness:

It can only handle 350w rms, plus you need to break it in at low-mid volumes for a long time before you can crank it up, other wise it will blow up.

This is a very nice sub, looks great and souds good at the recomended power.Don't make the same mistake I did, hooked it up to a class D amplifier feeding it with 900w RMS at 2 omhs and burned it.You have to know the rigth impediance for each amp and sub.Remeber it is only 175w per coil.

Strength:

SQ, Very efficient, Very clean, DVC, SQ, Hit very low for 12's(My peak frequency is 35Hz in my car with these), did i mention the quality of sound? Reasonably priced if you get them off of the internet. Don't pay retail!!

Weakness:

Your not going to be winning any SPL comps with these. Probably because they were designed for sound quality though.

This is a great sub. If your looking for tons of SQ or a bit of SPL, then this is a great choice. I have two of these running off a RF power 500s for right now. They are in 1 cu.ft. sealed boxes. They sound very good. Compared to Alpine Type R 12's, these are WAY better. Better in both SQ and SPL.

Strength:

Clean tight and hard hitting bass Needs a good amplifier to get the juice out of this sub Trunk lid rattles like anything - dynamat needed Free dancing rearview mirrors Gets u chicks faster :) Car can be easily turned into a massage parlor Above all u end up enjoying the music like never before.

Weakness:

nothing yet

This is the second subwoofer I have used. I should say that I am impressed by what it can do in this short span of acclimatization. I still have not broken it in completely. The infinity gets its juice from a Zapco reference 350 amplifier. Trust me, the woofer can bump. I would say its not loud as hell like some people have in their car, where they play the music for the pedestrians. But the tight bass and clarity, salute to infinity on that. Since in the break in period I didn't push it that hard, but I have seen many awe stuck faces on the side walks when I park my car. The next sentence after a hi is "Nice sound system man. How many in the trunk?" I say one, they don't trust me. Then I open the trunk of my accord and shows them the sealed 1.0 ft^3 sealed enclosure of sub, they are dead. I say that the best compliment came to the woofer was on last friday, when a lady walked upto my car in the parking lot of the popular bar, asking whether I have a condom. At first i didn't understand, but later she explained that she thought she might be 'all ready' by the time we reach home, because the vibrations were so much. Do I need to say any more? If i go and buy subs again, its gonna be infinity. Again as the guys who installed the system said, "Man you have one of the coolest subs they came across." If you are in for more hard and clear bass, not huge loudness, then infinity is the sub for you.

Strength:

Much higher power handling than rated limit Deep lows Suprisingly accurate for a 12 in driver SQ unmatched Very nice looking Long throw

Weakness:

Too expensive if you pay retail Buy on EBAY!!! Rattle trunk apart, use dynamat or brownbread for better SQ and SPL. Spray in foam works well too, I am tired of hearing rattles going up and down the street all night, a few clean bass notes would be much nicer.

I have two of these running off a rockford 800a2 bridged to a 4 ohm mono load. These subs hit much harder and a hell of a lot clearer than any other sub I have owned. I have had many 12's and 10's in my day, but thus far these are the best for sound quality and deep lows. If you really want these to sound great don't be stingy on the amp. Cough up the extra dough, you won't regret it.
