Price Paid:  $100.00 from pawn shop

Year / Model Reviewed:
 87 pathfinder

Strengths:
Ridiculous frequency capability and spl from one little 8 inch sub. Unbelievably loud and clear

Weaknesses:
If this thing is hooked up to a low powered amp the thing is not happy. Feed it some real power and lookout. I had it hooked up to just one channel of my mtx thunder 204 and I was hearing port noise over the bass. When I bridged that mother, holy sheeot. It pounds. By the way, the MTX 204 is sick. It's way more powerful than they claim.

Summary:
This sub is unreal. I am fully sold on alumapro's design. Loud, crystal clear, very deep bass that will suprise you no matter who you are. Very cool.

Similar Products Used:
JL, Kicker Comp, PPI, Rockford Punch, MTX 5000, xtant, this damn thing is more impressive than any other subs I have heard. Plus I got it cheap. The pawn shop wanted 200, but the guy let me have it fo

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $275.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 93 RX7 twin turbo

Strengths:
Great quality, and very loud for an 8. Better than my previous 2 12" MTX

Weaknesses:
I blew a voice coil out, but it was replaced under warranty.

Summary:
I highly recommend them. I only have room for 1 8, and it thumps. If I had more room, I would get more but I don't need it.

Similar Products Used:
The best sub I've heard in a long time. Way better than JL
