Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $500.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1508Q

Strengths:
Sh*t bumps. deeeeep bass and even deeeeeper in right box with right gauge and connections, best used with other audiobahn amps, little distortion at high volumes, looks good, The Beast of all 15's

Weaknesses:
I think my hearing is damaged, I cant turn it all the way up or i will vomit, I lost all my freinds cause they get blasted out of the back seat, My car is ripped apart,I lost my back window. cap and alternator needed. The cops are always on my back cause too many car alarms go off when i am around.

Summary:
I just got 2 of these bad boys a week ago. I also got the audiobahn a2300hcx amp. I didnt expect much cause i paid 1000 bucks for everything. I hooked these bad beasts up at a audio store with my freind. i put in some big tymers and When i turned on my reciever I put it on volume one and i couldnt hear any bass. I thought something was wrong so i just tweeked that volume control half way. And then Booooooooom!!!. These bad boys hit some damn hard that they immediatly wiped my back window out. people thought there was a freakin earth quake. Immedialtly everyone from the audio store came out to see what i had. they coundnt belive all this was comin from 2 15's. I can easily say i got the loudest system in the middle east. The bass is deeeep, travels many blocks down road. My freind said he could hear me and i was a little over a mile away with the volumel half way. Enough talk. just get this beast sub in yur truck and "Bump dat".

Review 2 of 5

Price Paid:  $211.00 from ubid

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Strengths:
Loud

Weaknesses:
Cones pop off after a month or two, have a tin sound to the bass

Summary:
They are great for the price, but if you want to get a sub every month from the cone popping off, don't get them. I have a pair of 2003 ma audio 1500xl 15"s running 700 rms to each and they are smoother and louder with half the wattage.

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $211.00 from ubid.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Strengths:
The low bass, low distortion, frequency range is great for a 15" sub. Great looks, heavy

Weaknesses:
Sealed box doesn't handle the recommended power and that is it, but for these, you don't want in a sealed box, ported all the way.

Summary:
I put a review on a few months ago and I have still have to say that these 2 15"s are loud. They are now breaking in and they sound so loud and clear. It hits all the high bass and definity the low bass. They only thing is that when you have it in a sealed box, they can only handle about 600-1000 watts not the full 2000 watts. I ported the box and I am now running a good 1500 watts to each and they are just loud. Yes, in a sealed box, they hit the higher bass, but not the lower bass and I have them in a 3.7 cubic ft box each chamber. I noticed that when they were in the sealed box, that the voice coils would heat up very quick, then when porting it, they stayed nice a cool. Great for the money.

Strengths:
BIG MAGNET, GREAT LOOKS, POWER HANDLING, DUAL 2 OHM COILS, HITS THE LOWS VERY GOOD LIKE A 15" SHOULD.

Weaknesses:

Summary:
SUB IS LOUD AND HITS LOW. IT TAKES ALL THE POWER YOU GOT AND TURNS IT INTO DB. LOOKS VERY GOOD AND SOUNDS VERY GOOD. BIGGER AND HEAVIER THAN MY ORION HCCA. I LOVE THE HCCA'S, BUT THESE ARE JUST AWSOME.
