$403.00 Year / Model Reviewed: AW 1505 Strengths: This sub has come to my every expectation. if givin the correct wattage and box airspace, it can do about everything. It can hit high bass frequencies with ease and grace, and commands the sub-level frequencies with power and authority. in it's box, it's about 60+ lbs, and around 8 hertz at 130+ decibles, the box literally jumps. RAD!!!!!!!!! Weaknesses: you need a lot to power this baby. it can take anything, but to get supreme sound, you need raw power (600+ watts rms at least, and clean). it's expensive, but if you go with this sub, obviously that isn't an issue. Summary: My friend owned this sub before me, and blew both of it's voice coils while experimenting. After hearing, and feeling, what this sub can do, I decided I had to invest in one. I haven't been beaten yet at stop-light compititions. It's great. Getting a hold of it was quite unplesant, going through UPS (my first was broken because of the packaging). so even though expensive, and waiting about 5 months to get it, it was worth it after putting it in. I'm happy, and if I upgrade, it will be to get a second. Similar Products Used: Two 12" MTX's in a bandpass box- a disgrace in comapison. Two 12" PYLE comps. sealed- can't put out like this beast. no low end either.
