Review 1 of 14 , from Douglasville, Ga, Douglas

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Sound Sensations

Strengths:
The strength of these subs lies in a well-tuned ported box. I've had them in a ported box tuned exactly to 33hz and it sounded awesome.

Weaknesses:
The weakness of this sub is to perform in a sealed box. I bought a new car and had to put the subs in a sealed box so they would fit in my trunk and they're really sound crappy.

Summary:
I really like aura. I have 3 of their force 12 subs in my car and a set of their components in my doors. Ive really been impressed with their products.

Similar Products Used:
I have aura components in my doors. they sound great and were easy to install. My highs and mids are handled by these while my lows are handled by their subs. Oh yeah, in a couple of weeks the subs ar

Review 2 of 14

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
Very efficent, super light weight aluminum poly mix cones. 350W RMS power handling, 650W peak. Xmax: 14 mm. Tom petty Aura made Pro Audio speakers for BASS. Industry leading advances in magnet technology. Check out www.aurasound.com

Weaknesses:
Just isnt a name brand to the non hardcore car audio group.

Summary:
Aura, one of the best speaker makers in the world. Have installed many Aura subs in houses and cars. The force line Was Auras low end line. Still high end for the car industry, even though they are about 7 years old. Take it from a Pro Audio Installer.

Review 3 of 14 , from tn

Price Paid:  $100.00 from second hand

Strengths:
Looks, frame strength, rubber surround,

Weaknesses:
weak wires running from connectors to coil were slowly eroded by rubbing on the frame and mine broke but were repaired with wire crimps and it still hits hard, never hits as hard as i'd like

Summary:
i have my aura 12 's in a big ported box with 900watts in a hatch back and they do alright. But before that they were in a band pass with 300 watts running them and i thought they performed much better in the band pass even though im pretty sure they are designed for a sealed box.

Review 4 of 14 , from Chicago,IL,USA

Price Paid:  $180.00 from Audio Store

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000/Force12

Strengths:
Strong and loud...at least more than half of the hood will hear u comin down the street.

Weaknesses:
They sound decent but are not over powering. They would sound really messed up when i turned up the amp. NOt good power handlers.

Summary:
These were my first subs and they were hittin hard. Everyone would compliment my soundz. I had to Aura force 12's running off a 800watt gravity amp from Califas. They sounded clean and loud but only if u hook up a crossover. TAht's the main thing u need with these subs.

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer 12's...which are more deeper. Pioneer 260 watt 6by9's which suck. Pioneer head unit 7200...the best cd playa

Review 5 of 14

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
value, sound quality, looks, sound quality, and sound quality

Weaknesses:
incapable of shaking your car to peices

Summary:
I purchased one Aura Force 10" subwoofer off ubid (kinda like ebay) for $24 about a year ago. I first used it in my room as a subwoofer and then installed it into my ''99 audi A4. i have to say that this is the best $24 i could ever spend. This is not a large subwoofer, nor does it require much power, but it sounds excellent. It delivers rich, full bass with almost no distortion. I have friends with systems in their cars, most with two twelves, and i have to say that i think mine sounds better. My friend has two Solo-Baric Kicker rectangular subs, and they''re great speakers and all, but when they get really loud they''re just noise, not really notes or music or anything, just loud deep noise. this sub is very clear and hits every note accurately and perfectly. I am extremely pleased with mine, and I reccomend these subs to anyone looking for great, clear music, however if you just want loud, monotonal noise, get something else
