Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $250.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 mx1522 autotek

Summary:
I have two mx-1522 in a seal 1.7 sealed box, i have right now one autotek xs1500.1, I'm only pushing about 450watts to each sub which sounds good, they beat hard, but these subs need more power, they say 800watts but I believe they are over 1200watts rms. soon i will have another autotek xs1500.1 amp, then we will see what they can really do......... look for the deals online....

Strengths:
they pound hard, plays the low notes really good for some 15's

Weaknesses:
they are power hungry. they do not play some notes that a 12in sub would, but thats just the size in subs. they do need a big box to get the best sound out of them.

Similar Products Used:
jl audio, kicker audio, fusion audio, diamond audio....

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 MX-1522

Summary:
I am running 3 of these subs in my 1969 Chevelle, this is the hardest hitting system I''ve heard in a long time. I refuse to buy another kind of subwoofer as far as size or brand goes.

Strengths:
They have the punch of a 12in woofer but also have the low boom of a 15in sub. They also handle way more power than the manufacture says.

Weaknesses:
none

Similar Products Used:
Kicker 15, Rockford Fosgate 15. The Autotek MX-1522 blows both brands away.

Review 3 of 3

Year / Model Reviewed:
 MX-1522

Summary:
Overall I love this equipment. I would never go back to Orion due to the pricing. Autotek is slow a a company but there product will deffinately stand alone at the top someday just like Orion has for so many years.

Strengths:
Well I am a sealed box kinda guy ya know. I bought the AMX 200.2 amp and the MX-1522 subs. WOW!!!
Sealed and ported boxs and 750 watts, ITS NOT RIGHT they handle way more than that.Aluminum voice coils 2+2

Weaknesses:
The amp is a power house and never shuts down.
no clipping from the subs

Similar Products Used:
I used to run Orion amps and Orion subs.........USED TOO
BY no means can I compare the too. They are like relatives. Autotek is deffinately on to something.
