Price Paid:  $90.00

Strengths:
easy to install, great price for the incredible amount of bass, no need for enclosure, look good

Weaknesses:
The coating on the tube scratches too easily. lacks SQ

Summary:
I got these for only $90 + shipping online. I am running 150 watts RMS to two of these subs and I registered 131.7dB!! These are great for beginning systems, make sure you have a good amp driving them. They pound really well but lack sound quality.

Similar Products Used:
Coustic DR-308P 8", those cost me $150 each and the bass is awesome, but for the money you can't beat the bazooka

Strengths:
Very Compact, not too expensive and handles more power than needed.

Weaknesses:
The sub does not look as good as others since its small and in a tube.

Summary:
This 8 inch sub hits so hard my friend brings ear plugs when he wants to ride in my car, maybe he is just a big baby. Anyways, The sub is small and compact and will handle 150 watts rms easily, my speakers distort before the sub does!!! I have a Jensen amp hooked up to it right now and it puts 150 watts rms into it. This sub shakes your whole car and you can feel the bass on the tips of your hair. I have an integra hatchback so maybe that is why it sounds so good. I reccomend this sub to anyone with a hatchback. Oh yea, i can feel the bass when im in my room upstairs and my car is parked on the street. I also have a 6.5 inch amplified bass tube hooked up, this adds a little more bass, not a whole lot since i have the gain at half way

Similar Products Used:
MTX 12 inch blue thunder in thunder box and a Sony 400 watt amp with digital EQ, the 12 inch obviously hits harder but the bazooka is worth the money

Review 3 of 4

Strengths:
A nice compact unit that can be easliy added to any system, even factory. Its small size and efficiency make it a perfect upgrade for a factory system. The unusual tube produces a decent amount of bass.

Weaknesses:
It lacks that hard hitting really LOW bass and has a very small frequency response.

Summary:
It's a great sub for the design limitations of it. They could have put a bit more powerful of an amp on it. The small size is perfect for those looking to add that missing piece to a factory system. If you're considering this or a component sub, go component. But if you're just limited on space and just want something so you know it's there, then this is the way to go.

Similar Products Used:
I now have two 8" in a sealed enclosure (space restriction prevented two 10") and I have to say that the sealed component subs are better. They give a much larger frequency range than the Bazooka, especially the really low end.

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
The RS804 gives you surprisingly huge bass from a woofer its size. It can easily be added to any system and perform on any level. It gives you both accurate and deep bass. They are extremely efficeint and have great power handling, they need as little as 6 watts so you don't need a huge amp to get great sound, but if your more bass they can take 200 rms. Being so efficient they give you more bass output than any other comparible speaker system, and don't take up a huge amount of space. I was very impressed when I first heard one, since then I now have 8 and they play ungodly loud. (147.3)spl I have to give this product a5 star rating, its a very versital sub that can perform on all level.
You have to hear it to believe it!
