Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $40.00 from ebay

Summary:
i have owned these speakers for a long while. i am very impressed. i have owned inifinities, sony, mtx, and a couple others and im convinced that blaupunkt has very high quality. I had two of these 10" pciw1000's in my bandpass box. and they are the best speakers i ever owned. they outlasted and out-performed most speakers with a much higher power rating. they hit hard but do not have the best vibration.(not much vibration).there injected coans give an extra push to the bass. i had them hooked up to a jensen 680 watt when i first started, and had the dials about half way and it was very clear and solid.never hurt my ears. and after about a year the wiring in the speaker melted off. lol.oops. anyways for the price i recommend.

Strengths:
solid hard bass,cheap price.good quality.lasts a long time!

Weaknesses:
not alot of vibration(if you like that)but what ten really does. high power amps will melt speaker wire inside magnet to cone after time.

Similar Products Used:
infinity reference. 1050watt max,350 watt rms.a little more powerful then the blaupunkt

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $49.00 from cardiscountstereos.c

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1991 GMC Sonoma

Summary:
I was going for cheap cheap cheap. I got a Lanzar Vibe218 pushing a single 10" and I can barely sit in my truck when its going. I have my amp set at a little less than half using single channel (not-bridged) setting. It has a good deep clear sound and is more than enough for what I need.

Strengths:
Cheap. Loud. Clear.

Weaknesses:
I had to get a special box made for my truck because of the 40oz magnet. It also makes my ears hurt :)

Similar Products Used:
Crappy no name dual voice coil 10" that I used to test my amp out. It couldnt really handle the power of the amp too well.
