Year / Model Reviewed:
 Boston Rs110B

Summary:
This sub was just a piece of crap. This sub was used in a VW Golf, and i powered it with an Alpine V12 mrv-f353 5 channel amp. i used the fifth channel for this sub, the channel was rated at 100watts RMS, im not positive what the sub was rated at, but i know it was higher than 100watts RMS... anyway, it took me three months to blow the sub three times. i had a protection plan on the sub so that if i blew it, i could just get a new one with no hassle (thank god). i have since replaced it with a JL 10w3 and the JL is in a different league. the boston was loud and fairly clean for a bandpass, for about a week, then i blew it... i was very disappointed, to say the least.

Strengths:
Fairly loud, and sounded good for a week or so...

Weaknesses:
Turned out to be a total crap sub... I blew three different subs, three different times.

Similar Products Used:
JL 10w3 in JL's prowedge box. Boston cant compare to this sub, JL completely blows it out of the water.
