Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $200.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Acura Legend

Strengths:
Great Value, low cost, BAND-PASS BOXES RULE!!!!

Weaknesses:
almost too much bass at times, can get annoying

Summary:
Although band-pass boxes take up more room, you get the best of both worlds, but it takes a lot of power. To remedy such, I have bridged two channels of my Phoenix Gold QX300.4 and have the gain and bass boost set all the way down, it's just right ;-) If you've got the space to spare in your trunk, go for it! If I want to, I can turn up the bass so that my side-view mirrors shake, and my rear-view loses it's position (I have to reset it). You've been warned.

Review 2 of 2

Strengths:
Lots of power handling ability, easy to set up, hits hard, in a bandpass box.

Weaknesses:
Cannot go super-low as my friend's 12" Boston but sounds just as good the rest of the time.

Summary:
I paid $116 for this baby shipped from eBay. It was truly a steal and is worth much more than that. I have it hooked up to a Jensen 150 RMS amp (Jensen amps are stable). It runs well and I haven't had any problems with it. Would I reccommend this to someone? YES! It sounds really good even though it cannot go as low as a 12" (but music barely gets that low anyway). If you have the opportunity to buy this at a low price (<$200) I would definately go for it.

Those who should buy it: Those who seek loud pounding bass in an easy to use setup. They may be 8's but nobody will know until you show them.

Those who shouldn't buy it: Those who seek the VERY bottom bass frequencies that are barely reached buy most music. You should not buy this if you do not want bass taking over your car.
