Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $140.00 from Somewhere in Canada.

Year / Model Reviewed:
 IT-12.0 SVC

Summary:
It doesn't get loud? You kiddin? With two of these bad boys in a sealed enclosure, 300 watts RMS, I managed 140.5db. Certainly not dBdrag stuff, but at least as loud as any other SQ subwoofer out there. As for the SQ, the Cerwin-Vega IT-12.0 is a very fast, punchy (due to the small enclosure design), clean, and musical subwoofer. Even with the subwoofers facing backwards, the bass is nearly transparent. These are fully capable of playing very low with no trouble. I fully recommend these subwoofers for anything from a full-blown SQ install to a simple daily driver.

Strengths:
Plays very low, clean, excellent SQ, very musical subwoofer, inexpensive, small enclosure requirement. Nice craftmanship.

Weaknesses:
There's nothing weak about it, except you won't find 'em for the price I got them for brand new.

Similar Products Used:
JL 10W0, Orion CO10D, Pioneer TS-W25C, Sony XS-L1035, Kicker S12-C (round Solobaric!)...Cerwin-Vega IT-12.0 is far superior to these.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Sub plays very very low notes, like a 15" sub does, excellent sq subwoofer-warning this sub will really really suck if your looking for that hard extreme excursion and spl, you will not get it with this sub this sub is very comparable to a image dynamics idq 12" this sub would make a nice sub for a multimedia setup, it will play pretty loud, i have a punch power 250m on it and its pretty beefed up bass, i recomend it for sq'ers not spl'ers.

Strengths:
nice graphics on magnet, i like the 3" vc, and the fact it drops down to a serious 20hrz note, drops like a 15" sub

Weaknesses:
in this case they seperated dr jekle and mr hyde, this is a sq only sub, no spl at all-only weakness,

Similar Products Used:
Kenwood Tornado 12" subs, JBL Loud +clear
