Year / Model Reviewed:
1998 Earthquake magma

Strengths:
Everything

Weaknesses:
none

Summary:
It's too bad no one really knows about these. They blow everything else out of the water hands down. If you wanna bump hard buy these, you wont be dissappointed. Havent heard a better sounding sub anywhere else.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Zypher Audio

Year / Model Reviewed:
1997 Magma 12

Strengths:
Low Bass and take lots of watts, yes they are rated but take much more. Next step I take I am going to give them 1500 RMS

Weaknesses:
Not a real tight bass.........but that is not what they are about. Loud low bass and they are good at it.

Summary:
Good Low Bass, will rumble you............you know where. Did mine in a .9 cubic box and reinforced a great deal. You will blow a box apart if not taken the time to do it right. Do not port the box or anything else but sealed so you keep the best control. This thing goes so low that it doesn't matter anyways. I put 1000 watts RMS to it and believe me if you can take it..............uffta. They are bad to the bone. Only thing else I like compared to these are the CP-12's. I hit a 152.4 SPL with 4 of them with a 42000 earthquake amp and the magma's are louder yet.
