from Ebay -= New Year / Model Reviewed: 2004 Earthqauke Magma 15 Strengths: loud, low, and most importantly accurate with 99% of what you throw at it... Weaknesses: You better have a powerplant to get this thing moving,,, but well worth the effort.. and Summary: Currently have it in a ported box, per earthquake spec, running only 700 watts to it,,, (home theatre application). The IMAX Space Station DVD needs to be experienced... turned up btw 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up,, it was intense,,, and more importantley accurate. I had a cape canaveral native over and had him sit down to listen to the space shuttle discovery launch on the DVD,,, he said he felt like he was in the shuttle ... :-)
this sucker shook glasses to the front of my kitchen cabinets,,I lost a 2 shot glasses, and a juice glass when I unwittingly opened the cabinet door...and I am underpowering it at the moment in a ported box... I will need a kilowatt and change to hook this thing up into a sealed box to get it's true potential out...
On music,, I play everything from classic rock, to enya,, to rap,, it sonically handles everything I throw at it almost flawlessly (a tad boomy on certain notes in country music though)... Similar Products Used: Soundstream SPL170, Memphis 15, JL 12w7/6
