Model Reviewed: Eclipse SW9102 DVC

Strength:

Can pound loud and better sq then any of the setups I've owned and most that I've heard. I love tight, fast, deep bass so the sealed box is great with this sub. If you want to go loud you definatly have the option with this sub. I took the ported box out cause it was so loud it was almost unbearable for daily driving. Sweet looks... Fits in really small sealed box...

Weakness:

If you don't look hard for it this sub can cost upwards of $500. Needs a pretty big box for computer tuned box. It only comes in the dual 4ohms and not in dual 2ohms.

I bought this 10" sub after finding a great deal for it and really loving the 10" Alumium I owned. I have a computer tuned box & a Gatley Audio 3/4" sealed plexy box for this sub & it hits in both. I have it in my plexy box right now cause it looks great and I love how low & tight this sub can hit. I have most of the planels in my GTP dynomated and in the ported box it still rattled the hell out of my car. This sub has a huge linear exersion & rebounds very quickly on fast beat bass. It can most certianly take more than the 750 wrms it's getting from the SY5011DX.
