Review 2 of 14

Price Paid:  $159.00 from CarDomain

Year / Model Reviewed:
 JBL 1200gti woofer

Strengths:
-Hard hitting bass -JBL sealed enclosure subs great for RAP -Not too overkill, not the type to be heard 2 miles away, or rocking things in someones living room and appearing like an a$#hole.

Weaknesses:
-None so far. If i didn't have a hatchback i would get another one, but my car is already falling apart!

Summary:
I recently bought one of these subs for my Eclipse Hatchback running 300w to it in a sealed box powered by a Sony xplod 760w Amp. This thing has rattled loose my trunk compartments, blasted open the rear speaker grill in a matter of hours after i installed it!!

Review 3 of 14

Price Paid:  $125.00 from EBay / Friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
 JBL GTi 1200

Strengths:
Lots and lots and lots of power handling, 4" voice coil, Great sound, very innovative design.

Weaknesses:
None

Summary:
Ok, I have 3 of these GTi1200s in a custom built box in my truck, ran from a 400watt Marc Anthony amp (down to 1.3ohms). These subs are awesome, nothing else out there holds a candle to them, for shear SPL or Sound Quality, they rock.

Review 4 of 14

Price Paid:  $30.00 from American Appliance O

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1994

Strengths:
Lots of deep low end bass. nice looks....great design....ive hooked up a 1200 watt amp to this 600 watts JBL....no distortion or bottoming out.

Weaknesses:
requires a big box...but i have found a way and design to make this speaker fit anywere....even under your bed in your house

Summary:
This is no doubt one of the best ive had. This speaker is my most favorite. I have had a Crunch, Pro Series, Road Gear, Pioneer IMPP freeair, Urban Audio, and even a Mobile Authority. This JBL i have is similar to the one listed. Mine is a JBL GTi 1000 World Competition subwoofer at 600 watts RMS..100 peak. All those others i had were 12"s .....i have a 10" JBL....there is no doubt that i can beat almost any sub with this

Similar Products Used:
only thing i can think of that could have remotely come close is the Crunch
