Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $125.00 from crutchfield

Year / Model Reviewed:
 98

Summary:
I have mine in a band pass box out on my porch. I built the box to jbl specs. This thing is unbelievable in this application!!! ONe 12 with only 150 watts will amaze you. However, I would maybe agree with the guys below that it might sound bad in a car. WHen I get close to the box, it's not too great, but out on the patio, it sounds fantastic. Durability must be good to cause it's been outside for about 3 years and still kickin. Use it for home applications.

Strengths:
Loud and sounds good in a bandpass home application

Weaknesses:
might not be good in your ride

Similar Products Used:
Various jbls, audiobahn, eclipse, jl etc

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $200.00

Summary:
I have two older series JBL power 15s in a 95 Bonneville in a huge sealed box, and these subs just fart. the bass is considerably loud but I had two RF he2 15s with 1\2 the power and the RFs killed the JBLs. would definitely not recommend these

Strengths:
none compared to other subs

Weaknesses:
can't play as low as a pair of descent tens, not very clean sound, they just don't play loud at all

Similar Products Used:
None
