Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $175.00 from Cartoys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 JBL W10GTI

Summary:
First off I wasnt looking for a sub that retails at $800, Just 200, and there this one was, and right on the tag, $574.44-was what I saved, plus the %15 off for coloumbus day sale, I encouage everyone to go to get this great buy. It sounds awesome, I have 1200w pushing it and it takes all of it and give me great sound in return. It is a bit slow and not quite responsive, but hell for the price, who cares? thats $175.55 for the sub!

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Sound High

Strengths:
-Loud! very Loud! -Great SQ if you build the right box for it! -can take tons of power and beggs for more. -A near perfect sub!

Weaknesses:
-Sounds like shet in ported box that are bigger then 1.75cf. -Paper cone starts to look dry and have a very faded look after about 8 months. -Hard to fine tune this sucker!

Summary:
A great SQL sub. I got mine in 1.60cf ported tuned to 33hz. This one 10" sob can pound your ass off! and sound good doing it! I couldn't believe all this bass was coming off 1 10! This sub isn't for everyone. Very hard to get the sub to sound good with ported boxes, so you better know how to build your own box cause I had to make 4 different boxes to get the sound perfect for my car. Over all if your looking for SQL and don't want to pay a ton of money for ton of bass this who be a great choice.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $450.00 from Local

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Strengths:
DEEP Bass, small enclosure

Weaknesses:
SPL is Low, SQ is Crap and $$$$$$

Summary:
Extraordinarily impressive looking sub. They don''t live up to the hype though - they can really bump but they just don''t have as much output as you''d expect from the excursion you see... VERY Deep for a 10 but not very accurate. The idea was that they could hit big SPL and do SQ at the same time and it all sounds good, they just don''t live up to it. It''s in the recommended sealed enclosure, and I''ve got more than enough power (enough to make it "pop" audibly if I crank the gain up) but it still only hits 120db at best. My four cheap 8" pioneers hit way harder with only 200 rms and I can push this thing waaay past 600 rms if I want to... again, the deep bass is there it''ll rattle the sh!t out of your interior with low bass, but at the same time a double bass sounds like crap, and organ music turns in to noise! In short, it''s big, slow, deep and sloppy...
