Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $225.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 kicker solobaric L5 12" 2 ohm

Summary:
Got 2 of them in my reg cab s10 in a custom box i made. i have a kicker 1200 mono amp and a 1.5 farad cap. These things sound excellent! By far better then any system i heard so far. Theres little stereo shops around here that try to be cool by putting peoples systems in but dont come close to these things. A must buy!

Strengths:
Nice power handling and amazing lows! i will let ya know how many decibles i hit!

Weaknesses:
NONE

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $350.00 from Crutchfield

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002

Summary:
I purchased the 12" L5 for a few reasons: First the sealed box size is the smallest I could find. Second it can hit hard and low. If you want a sub that will hit very hard and not take up a lot of space. Get this sub. If you have a lot of space, get the 12" in a ported box you won't be sorry, your ears will be.

Strengths:
Great response at all volume levels, great for rap music.

Weaknesses:
Limited frequency range.(20-100Hz) Requires a lot of power (im running 450 RMS to it.) vibration dampening is a must if you want to hear bass instead of rattleing.

Similar Products Used:
Other subs, but there is no comparasin. Kenwood, MTX
