Price Paid:  $230.00 from CAD

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1996 Golf Gti

Summary:
The MB Quart PWD 304 is a well finished subwoofer, with a cast basket (chrome detailing on the magnet), a woven composite fibre cone, and an Iron Ferrite magnet.

Strengths:
Sound quality is excellent, as is the frequency response, hitting hard for a 12" even at 20hz. I''m running it off a Cadence A7HC at 2 ohms (approx 1000W RMS) and it''s handling the power with no problems. Good SPL (only a few DB less than my previous 12" Solobaric L7 which I fried running at 2 ohms).

Weaknesses:
cone design not attractive to everyone

Similar Products Used:
I''m running a set of MB Quart DSD216 components up front with an alpine MRVT505 amp, and a pioneer meh9000 head unit.
