2001 Summary:
This Subwoofer is part of a complete set of MB Quart Discus speakers: 3.5''s, 5.25''s, 6.5''s and this 10" sub. powered by an Alpine MRV-T505, providing 200W @ 12.0v Bridged, installed in a .7 cu.ft box located in the trunk of an ''87 Buick regal. Bass response is strong and tight, without that "rumpling" sound found on some subs at high bass signal. Excellent value for the money as I think MBQ is stopping this line so alot of dealers are nearly giving them away. Excellent value, good build and attractive looking woofer when peeking through the grille. One 10" is PLENTY of bass for me, but 2 would add more flexibilty and headroom. Construction is excellent, with Rubber surrounds it looks like this woofer can tolerate alot of punishment. Strengths:
