Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 TS-W1200c

Strengths:
Punchy and controlled on a good quality amp. Goes really low (15hz!) Can handle over 500W RMS without overheating, even for 2 hours + For its money this sub is great, excellent sound quality but not loud, the way I like it.

Weaknesses:
Quite quiet at low frequencies compared to other subs.

Summary:
I originally had a 350W RMS Vibe amp powering this on low gain as its 200W RMS and it sounded mediocre. I then hooked it up to a 240W RMS bridged Alpine V12 amp and the improvements were great. I now run it at 520W RMS off another V12 amp and I would say I'm getting the most out of it. There is no distortion at all and the bass is very responsive and controlled. This sub isn't greatly loud, but it goes really low and has a lot of power behind it so it has a lot of presence. The sound quality is excellent and if only I didn't have things rattling in the car that I cant stop rattling, it would sound so much better.

Vibe 12" sub, boomy and annoying to listen to compared to this.

Price Paid:  $2002.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Pioneer TS-1240C

Strengths:
Excellent bass response

Weaknesses:
Needs to handle more power

Summary:
These speakers are the best of Pioneer that i have ever heard. Forget the IMPP models, this is one of the loudest i have heard. It gives me a full body massage from a 500 watt amp...

Review 3 of 11

Price Paid:  $100.00

Strengths:
It fluckin rocks!

Weaknesses:
The only thing I dont really like about the sub is the fact that it "bottoms out" a little easily. I dont know if it''s because i messed them up or what but hey they still rock like hell...If anyone knows why they bottom out, tell me Djrameo@yahoo.com

Summary:
Mannn....these sub have got to be the absolute shiznit! I have heard my boy''s car with three JL 12''s (W6) with an Audiobahn amp...and I think I bump alittle harder than him. I have a GM-X942 hooked up to them and mann...it hits. Lovely speakers. I just wish I could find another pair from somewhere, but nowhere in Chicago sells them anymore.

Weaknesses:
Distorts a little with high power and a low frequency..

Price Paid:  $130.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1999 TS-W 1200C

Strengths:
nice response low bass, small box, nice rubber surround large voice coil and very easy to install.

Weaknesses:
give it alot of power it distorts, that the only problem I've found out. so far. Im so to it now Im going to change it soon

Summary:
It loud bassy and value for the top range in pioneer in Australia. depends what music you play and type of box you use. I like it for it looks tight base good construction. Get 3 of these and it blow your mind away it good but it need more power and the new model I think will produce more bass then the old model.
