Price Paid:  $50.00 from Flea Market

Summary:
If you’re on a budget, or don’t want to go too hi tech or power… than these will do. I’m no stranger to these. Every now and then (every since 1996) I run across some of these and surprisingly they sound ok. And can handle a little power (from a cheap quality company such as pyramid). That’s one of the reasons why I go with some of these because pyramid claims that they are made in u.s.a. And with so many new companies (mostly assembled in Korea & sold in the overhear usa ) I rather gamble with a product that’s been around for a while.

Strengths:
Bumped and vented pole piece (on the back of the magnet). Can handle a true 200-300 rms power. Rubber souround. And good well made cheap sub. Sound Quality Average.

Weaknesses:
Pyramid been making these for over 10 years (well over year 1995) and never improved the product. Requires too large of a box to drop ultra low frequencies that I like.

Similar Products Used:
It don't even matter... A lot of stuff has improved tremendously over the years… but I’m from the old school, and rather gamble on a product I’ve seen in action since 1995 or older. The market it too over flooded with affordable new Korea made products, with factious performance claims. But products that I can compared these too are too old and been out of production.
