Price Paid:  $100.00 from ultimate electronics

Year / Model Reviewed:
 rfz1812

Strengths:
good for a big ported box with 100watts rms so you can piss off your neighbors in your prelude with the monza tip and the fast and the furious wing on the hatch while you sport your kmart chrome 13 inch propelor hubcaps with 80 series snow tires bumping eminem over and over

Weaknesses:
not for real spl freaks, big amps or cruising with the big boys on sat night

Summary:
ok i have 2 of them in a sealed custom box at 1.2 cu.ft per side. i am (or was) running them off of a pioneer amp 360 watts rms(bridged 4 ohm) and the gain is set at half they hit hard but not below 50 hz then one of them started sounding like a slinky in a pringles can (not good) I emailed rockford from their web site and they told me in an email to get a hold of orange county speaker (since they discontinued them) and orange county speaker wants 80.00 to re-cone just one which is the price of 2 new ones. I figured all was lost and i pulled the dust cover off the bad one and found that the voice coil broke in half from the upper part that glues to the cone..rockford is very bad about warrantys on their drivers and I would not suggest buying any subs fr4om rockford unless it is their high line power series I cant get no satisfaction!!!

none i wouldnt be embarrased to admit

Price Paid:  $45.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000/rfz1812

Strengths:
Price verses sound quality, great value!

Weaknesses:
Sounds a little flabby on some bass licks, but overall a great little sub!

Summary:
This Subwoofer is all about value. It sounds great and cost very little money to own. Is there a better sounding subwoofer out there? Probably yes, but for this kind of price point, I don't think so! I didn't buy this subwoofer to be in any kind of competition, I just needed it to round out my system, which it did very well indeed! Overall great value and build quality!

Went to the usual car audio shops here in Denver, and listened to all sorts of subwoofers, Pioneer, Infinity, Jbl, and JL audio!!

Review 4 of 6

Price Paid:  $150.00

Strengths:
I only have 90 Watts on each of my 12"s and they bump. I got them in a sealed enclosure in a lil single cab Isuzue pick up and they are loud and very deep.

Weaknesses:
lke any sub if your amp is to high on some bass notes the amp strains and i donsn't distort but dosn't sound corectly

Summary:
I just think they are a good price for the quality you get i paid $150 for both and i think that is the best sub's i've owned so far

Review 5 of 6

Strengths:
very tight sound, deep bass sound (not cheap plastic sounding), very durable, pretty energy effecient, can play loud

Weaknesses:
bass frequency range is very limited i find, i have a great box yet they seem very weak on those higher bass notes, to low for 6 inches to hit

Summary:
great for certain kinds of music: metal, rap, hip hop,dance.etc...
the only major weakness i find is the lack of equal frequence response
