Good performance with any style music

Sub needs to be able to move more. Very good subs for the money! I custom made a vented box (just experimenting) and mine are tuned @ 40hz and hit right at 138-142 db on regular. With only 300 watts pushing,each sub. |

Good lows for price, good durablity, great power handling
Weakness:
Can get slightly distorted when pushing them hard, other than that, and awesome Sony product. Just don't put them in a ported, or bandpass, they weren't meant to be in them. Stick with sealed. $140 ofr the pair on sale. These are some of the best budjet subs i ahve even seen. Bought them 3 years ago, only had minor problems. None So Far i have paid £150 each for 2 x 1200 watts sony xplode subs 12" which are hooked up to two performance amps... i have had these subs for about a month now and i think that the really kick ass.. its like hitting "two birds with one stone" 1. massage 2. Great sound quality and a pair can hit around 135db which is really good for under $150
Weakness:
They blow easily if your rms is over 300, this is my second pair and one is cracked thanks to a friend I've got 2 XS-L1236s in my truck with a 1200 watt rockford amp pushing them and they sound great for the price. Similar Products Used: XS-L1235 basically the same...can't distinguish between the 1235 and 1236 if all you have to go by is sound |

color doesnt match my neon light. excellent for the price. ive seen them as low as 50 bux for the 900 watt subs ive got 2 of these hooked up to the 1200 watt amp and its a perfect match. these subs can handle all the bass that amp throws out Similar Products Used: sony 1200 watt amp |

Weakness:
max power handling of 300 rms Good bass output, however, it blew :( .. Nice and loud just try not to get more than 300 watts (rms) to it.. I have about 400 going into mine and it blew.. Installers turned gain max and I didn't notice.. |
