Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $100.00 from New @ Sound Domain

Strengths:
efficient, loud, deep.

Weaknesses:
none

Summary:
Efficient. In a Grand Cherokee with a low profile box. Hardly any air space with only 100 watt Angina amp pushing it and it sounds awesome.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $300.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 SPLW-12

Strengths:
insanely loud can take what ever u throw at them

Weaknesses:
weigh 40 pounds each, may come from factory wil crappy glue job so may have to get that replaced

Summary:
first off these subs are crazy LOUD!!. Each sub weighs about 40 pounds. i put both subs in a big custom ported box that weighted over 100 pounds easily. i had these subs in a 93 grand am and when i first turned them up it blew my trunk key lock out of my trunk no joke so i had a nice big hole there that was later covered up with duck tape. After a summers worth of bumping i started to notice a funny sound coming from the subs. I took them out and noticed the plastic part covering the cone was coming undone. i took them to a repart shop and both subs had a crappy glue job from the factory. so got them fixed and put them into my new car. i got a 99 grand am and had a really hard time getting the box into my trunk. Powering these monsters was a Lanzar Vibe1800D mono amp. this is the only amp i have purchased and still have it to this day. it is a great amp. never shuts off or goes into protection mode. upgraded my battery to a yellow top and got a 1.5 farad capacitor but still my lights dimed like crazy. this pasted october my car got broken into and the thifes got away with my deck, subs, radar and megaphone, but i still got the amp and cap. overall if you want super loud subs get these
