Price Paid:  $150.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Viper 12.2

Strengths:
Good SQ
Get very loud with the right amp

Weaknesses:
The aluminum cone can dent easily

Summary:
Some of you may be thinking, "i thought viper made alarms?" Well they do, but not very many people know they made subs too. Viper is owned by Direced (DEI) and they had made these subs a few years ago and stopped making them. They are very hard to find now. I have 2 of the (12") hooked up to a Viper 1200watt amp. They were in a 1995 Infiniti J30 and they sounded amazing, the perfect mix of loudness and sound quality. I have since moved to 1 12" Alpine type X to save some space becuase the trunk is really small. My girlfriend now has them in her Sunfire and they still sound new. They take alot of abuse and i would seriously consider these speakers over Kicker.
