Strengths:
moves a of alot of air... Doesn't need high watts to hit good...

Weaknesses:
poor sound quality... the box says 2500w max, really only 1200w... i pushed 1400w on one and blew it in the middle of a DB drag, took 25 seconds... Needs a BIG box to sound good... about 3-5 cubic feet with a big port too...

Summary:
i'm a serious DB Dragger, so this report may be slightly biased... Great sub for the price, in a SPL comp. 1 zx-4812dvx(136.1) hit better that 2 kicker cvr 12"s(130.7)... I have it in a cheap ported (AIRPASS) box... For SPL it's great... Definately NOT for sound quality tho... It's made to shake and move air... Long story short I love it... I had 2 in my trunk(chysler lebaron)... now i only have one... I cracked the back window and warped the cardboard between the seat and window... I was hitting 151.7 DB with 2, now i can hit 136 with one...

Strengths:
wayyyy underrated sub-hits the low lows very well -cone excursion is insane-these puppies move some air!!!

havent found any yet

Summary:
Im pushing 4 of these subs in 2.15cu/ft per chamber tuned at 34 herz-powering each set with a planet audio bb1350.1 sub amp which yields 675 watts to each sub continously.All i can say is HOLY MOLY these things hit freakin hard and low all day non stop just brutal punishing bass.I have them in a 96 explorer and they do badddd things to my whole vehicle it sounds like its coming apart at the seams

Strengths:
Hit very hard
sounds very good on every song i play

Weaknesses:
I had to remove the grills from the subs because they flexed so much that they were hitting the grills.

Summary:
Well, I haven't had these subs for very long but man do they bump. I only have a 2000 watt amp going through these things. My mother had ridden in the car for the first time since i had purchased them and she had to turn the bass down on the remote bass control because she could not deal with it. You want subs that hit hard, you want these. 2500 watts each is all i need to make it through the day sittin in my monte carlo. These things have the real power.

Strengths:
They will make heads turn every where (if that's what you like) they will last a very long time and never dissapoint you with bass! cheap and affordable for everyone to enjoy, and the cone will come out of the box appox. 5-6 inches from hard hitting bass!

Weaknesses:
if they don't have enough room, they won't work well at all! they are very big and very heavy and require lots of air to function. since they are ment yo come our of the bos about 5-6 inches they cannot be put behind anything. like plexy glass (it will shatter it, trust me from experience) there not ment for a sealed box either, they won't sound as good.

Summary:
These volfenhag subwoofers are the best subwoofers for the best price! 2500 watts each! I have 2 and they will demolish any other subs on the streets. I have a 5000 watt amp and they have never overheated on me or distorded (yet) they gave me swollen glands in the back of my head, for two weeks I couldn't go to work because I couldn't see straight from the bass. I just had it cranked from sun up to sun down, I drive around to do lawn care services and listen to them all day, I love those subs no matter what, if you want the best, hard hitting subwoofers, get them!
