Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $65.00 from Brand new @ EBAY

Year / Model Reviewed:
? Xtant a212

Summary:
Started off good for about 2 weeks. It is a 2 ohm woofer so i hooked it up to my sub channel on a five channel amp, (which is stable at 2 ohms). I was listening to a cd then all of a sudden my whole amp clipped and shut down. I unplugged the sub and cut the stereo back on and it worked fine, minus the sub. I was pushing it @ 300 watts so i guess i may have slightly overpowered it, but i always do... with no problem. The sub doesn't take much power and i wouldnt suggest over 250 watts.

Strengths:
low end. deep bass even in a sealed enclosure.

Weaknesses:
no power handling. dont stray above manu's. specs, as you can with many subs. Voice coil burned out in 2 weeks.

Review 2 of 5

Year / Model Reviewed:
 10 inch "a"

Summary:
Well I saw a guy at a show today with 12 of these 10's in a s10 extended cab pickup truck! With 3 memphis 1000d's. They were ported also. Let's just say holy sh*t. I thought i was going to freaking die sitting in his truck. The best part about this is he only paid 45 dollars a sub from a local shop. so he got all 12 subs for 540 dollars. The thing wasn't even tuned for spl and it hit 154 db legal on a good audiocontrol meter, like a 10,000 dollar one. Pretty freaking stiff meter.

Strengths:
Well , the sq also was pretty nice!

Weaknesses:
can't think of any

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $110.00

Summary:
I bought a single 12" Xtant sub along with a complete system just recently. The price was right, and the store clerk was very knowledgeable and highly recommended the Xtant for what I wanted (clean sounding audio). I heard two 10"s in the store, it was the cleanest sounding bass I've ever heard. Of course I've only had a fair amount of experience with Rockfords and Infinity's.

Strengths:
not sure yet

Weaknesses:
not sure yet

Price Paid:  $100.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1997

Summary:
they are good... i mean bad... i mean... well just go waste your money a pair of these 32" tweeters

Strengths:
it bumps and busts my window and it shattered. they made my ears bleed and cause instant deafness!!! with only one watt. i recommend not to buy them and get a restraining order on anyone who has 'em. I reckon u stay outside of a 2000 mile radius of them.

Weaknesses:
these are the best tweeters i have heard in my 6587568009406 yrs of life.

Similar Products Used:
thump is the same and so is boss and pyramid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review 5 of 5

Price Paid:  $125.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 xtanta212

Summary:
i would reccomend because of the price. they are supposed to go for about $180 each, but i paid $125 through some hookups. work with supplied power well. dont' have to worry about frying 'em until you get to loco grande amounts of power (or accidentally hook up wrong).

Strengths:
this sub plays deep and loud considering the power i'm feeding them. each a series 12" is getting about 125 watts rms. they are run in series off of a rockford 250a2, so they can get about 200 watts each. considering they rms at 250, they hit damn hard.

Weaknesses:
i fried one already. might have been install error. i think one of the leads from the connection to the sub accidentally ground.

Similar Products Used:
hits deeper than rockford xlc's, but not as tight. cleaner and deeper than mtx 6000's and about as loud
