Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $120.00 from tweeter

Year / Model Reviewed:
 99

Strengths:
they hold up to stress and heat (I pound these for hours everyday). great lows. vibrates my testicles.

Weaknesses:
doesn't blow. weak 150+hz. that's all

Summary:
I have 2 of these 12's and there great. Ive blown though infinity's and audiobahn's but these hold up. I would definately recommend these. They aren't as loud as others listed but they hold up and produce excellent lows. Ive had these for a year and there still pounding. There sealed and running at 300 r.m.s. each.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $129.00 from hifi buys

Strengths:
Wonderfully precise bass output, great low extension and overall clarity while putting out high SPL.

Weaknesses:
Can''t seem to blow the suckers no matter how loud they go! Not much of a weakness hehe....

Summary:
Awesome subs at any price. Hifi Buys is sellin them for an outrageous 130 per sub, over half off. I''ve never heard a sub that is so loud while maintaining clarity.

Similar Products Used:
MTX Thunder 8000''s (basically same sub), Rockford Fosgate, Cerwin-vega''s, MA Audio''s, slaughters anything I''ve heard with the exception of the 8000''s which sound similar.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $400.00

Strengths:
Powerful, but not teeth rattling bass. Definition and clarity are amazing. Price is comparable to lesser quality speakers.

Weaknesses:
rattles every part of my car that is not either insulated or tightly bolted down

Summary:
I would recommend these speakers to anyone who wants their neighbors' windows to rattle when they drive by. The bass output and definition is close to perfection. Mine are powered by an XTANT 2x200watt @ 4 ohms subwoofer amp and i couldn't complain about anything except my CD player skipping. The speakers cost $179 a piece and the box was 50 bucks ...definitely a good buy. The whole setup, [spkrs,box,amp($280),and rockford fosgate power cap($175], cost me about 1G and it was well worth it..especially when i added two Boston audio 6.5" coaxial mid/tweeters.I recommend these for someone who wants to build a great sounding, not teeth rattling stereo system. Even though they will still rattle your eyes.

Similar Products Used:
compared to a rockford fosgate 15" sub with 400 watts running to it, and about a $500 pricetag, the slight loss of bass depth is worth it
