Price Paid:  $800.00 from overseas auto

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 acura integra

Summary:
I am very disappointed with this product. The tip is ridiculously to big,and the loss in torque makes this exhaust not worth the money. It is also a little too noisy for me.I am going to sell the muffler section and buy a quieter one that does not look like a cannon.I will never special order anything without seeing it first.

Strengths:
Quality,very well made.

Weaknesses:
Loss in torque, noise, out of proportion muffler tip.

HKS.

Review 2 of 69

Price Paid:  $777.00 from www.autocarparts.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Nissan Altima 3.5L SE V6 w/ GReddy Evo 2

Summary:
I originally went to put this on at my friends house but we basically just rounded off my catalytic converter stud nuts. So I took it to another friends house and we installed it with ease. Came together well and fit perfectly. Starting up was the funnest part.

I've got about 200 more miles until the exhaust is completely broken in. It seems like everyday it gets a bit more tone.

Strengths:
Sound - It's definately bassy at lower RPMs. When you climb up to around 3k it gets throaty. After that my intake takes over so I can't hear it. I've taken it through the city to hear the echo but once again my intake just overwhelmed my cabin. The exhaust is not too loud, not too quiet, definately audible.

Looks - It makes a great look if you have cutouts in your back bumper. When I saw the 4.5" tips when I pulled it out of the box I was like, "Whoa!", but I put em on and it looked great.

Weaknesses:
Tips - Dent easy.

The hangars on the exhaust are rubbing up against the mount on my car so it's making this high pitched squeaking noise. :(

Review 3 of 69

Price Paid:  $480.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
1995 Honda Civic DX

Summary:
My stock system was shot, so i decided to replace it with an aftermarket system. It came down to the apex-i ws II and the evo II. After long consideration, I chose the evo II. Overall it was great. I had to have it installed because most of the bolts were rusted solid on the stocker. I noticed that i gained a little power in the top end, but with a little bit of low end loss. Ever since i pulled out of the parking lot at the muffler shop, it has been rattling against the frame of my car. This gets super annoying, because when ever i go around a turn it rattles. Also, it gets nice and rattly when it rains.. its like non stop.

Strengths:
Looks Performance gains SOUND- it sounds deep and throaty Durability Warranty

Weaknesses:
Rattles when going around turns, and in the rain. Its big, and gets me pulled over by the cops alot because its "illegal" which is crap, because they never give me a ticket-if it really was illegal, id get one.

Similar Products Used:
Stock- didnt rattle, but doesnt compare in performance or sound.

Review 4 of 69

Price Paid:  $400.00 from online

Year / Model Reviewed:
1997 greddy evo2

Summary:
BAD fitment. the exhaust would rattle because its hitting the frame of my car in the back. you would expect that the price you pay for this exhaust it should have a perfect fit. waste of money and i recomend you stay away from this exhaust unless you want to hear rattling sound while you cruise in your ride.

Strengths:
looks good. the stainless steel for the piping under your car looks nice. but its under your car and you cant see it anyways. but it still looks good. the Greddy name is the strength for this exhaust.

Weaknesses:
very bad fitment. exhaust will rattle because of the pipe on the muffler that angles up would hit the frame of your car.

Similar Products Used:
stock had no rattling.

Review 5 of 69

Price Paid:  $500.00 from Online Dealer

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Greddy Evo 2

Summary:
In my opinion this is one of the best sounding exhausts you can get for your car. It has a deep sound in lower rpms and there is no rice sound at all. There will be a loss of low end torque but you can make up for it in higher rpms. It's a huge canister and if you don't have a cutout for the exhaust on your bumper there is a chance of scraping. I've scraped a few times already, but this exhaust can handle the abuse.

Strengths:
great sound, power gain, durable, looks great

Weaknesses:
low end torque loss, a little large, difficult to clean

Similar Products Used:
stock
