Strengths: Nice workmenship
very very light compared to stock
noticable gains
Weaknesses: No gasket/hardware provided, come on COMPTECH
Summary: First installation was not too hard, the worst part was probly taking the heat shield and the O2 sensor off, i found it easier to just unplugg the O2 sensor and then take the sensor off the header after its off, theres also a bolt to the far right as your looking at the header thats is a little tough taking off without stipping it cause the ac hoses are in the way. This header was bolted up with an Apexi N1 the same night, and i can tell a gain/response in pull, i dont know what i gained im not assuming alot but its noticable and well worth it, its turned a nice gold so far, but will start to turn a high pitch blue like oil. Car sounds awsome also. COMPTECH did a good job, but the thing that kindda pissed me off was them NOT supplying a new gasket, thats kindda cheap on there behalf, but other then that i have no complaints.. GET IT !!!

Strengths: Great horsepower gain when used in conjunction with a cat back exhaust system and cold air intake. Very lightweight, built strong (TIG welded), Beautiful piece of work, turns gold after a half hour of driving, starting to turn blue at some points. I heard it is supposed to turn a beautiful blue at the flange, great fitment, no mods necessary.
Weaknesses: None that i have experienced yet.
Summary: The Comptech Sports header is a great exhaust manifold. The TIG welds are beautiful, very lightweight(14 lbs).
Similar Products Used: Stock, but how can you compare to that?!

Strengths: Great power increase, Good looks and craftmanship, easy install, and slight burble at exhaust tip.
Weaknesses: Not with the header itself, but with the extremely difficult to remove O2 sensor clip on the CR-V itself.
Summary: I recently ordered and recieved my header. I odered Comptech for one reason..they where the only freakin'' people who make a header for my car!!!! Why, in the ever popular import market is ther absolutely no aftermarket support for he CR-V!?!?!! I realize that only.00001% of customers demand extra performance out of their little "grocery getters" but come on!!!! Anyways, the installation was a breeze with about 3 times more time taken to remove the TINY stock manifold than actually installing the header itself. I love it! Throttle response is amazing, and the pull from between 3000 and 3500 rpm is amazing! The car no longer feels like it''s running out of breath around 6000rpm, and pulls stong in every gear. The fact that it looks clean (gold when heated) is just icing on the cake!

Year / Model Reviewed: Honda Cr-V 1999
Strengths: -overall increase in throttle response
-significant power boost from 3000+rpm
-engine rumbles with a deeper tone
-makes the engine bay looks real clean
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Comptech did a nice job with their headers. The stainless steel finish looks sharp and uniform. The headers are also very light, roughly about 14 pounds. The stock headers are almost 3 times as heavy as the Comptech ones.
Installation was a snap. Comptech included installation instructions for an integra, but both cars setup are similar enough to warrant the same instructions. The only tricky part is removing the oxygen sensor and making sure no
damage is done to it during installation. The CR-V responded much better to throttle demands, and gained a significant boost starting from 3000rpm. The car no onger feels sluggish and reluctant to accelerate. After a full night
of intense driving, I popped the hood and the color of the headers turned from silver to gold. My friend reassured me that this is normal.
