-highway drone is obnoxious
-DTM tips= carbon all over your rear bumper, and maybe fire
-since it's not JDM 1337, yo, you will get no respect from the ricer crowds (if you mention what brand it is. do what i do, tell the retards it's an early Hayame catback) Summary: i've had my DTM tipped street series (2.5" tips) on for over a year now, and let me tell you, the sound is killer. nice and deep (for a 2.4 liter), nice low rumble at idle. i had it mated with 2.25" piping and a free flowing resonator... but it's still pretty loud. without the stereo on and up, it gets annoying. and on the highway, the drone is maddening. also, i had some ecu issues where my injectors locked open, resulting in raw fuel pumped into my exhaust... which resulted in ten foot tall flames shooting from my muffler. and thanks to the upturned dtm tips, my rear bumper caught on fire. a week after i had the whole car repainted... so think about that. i'm relacing it with the "14829", 2.25" inlet, 4" double walled single tip. hopefully it'll be a little quieter (if not i'll fabricate a silencer), and shoot fire straight back if my new ecu fails Similar Products Used: OEM, HKS Hiper
