Spoon Racing Silencer Mufflers

Spoon Racing Silencer Mufflers

DESCRIPTION

The Spoon N1 style racing muffler is designed for maximum horsepower and torque gains from 4,000rpm and up. Excellent stainless steel construction and only weighs a mere 3.6kg. Gives a very aggressive tone and lets the VTEC scream!

Strength:

very simple looking. the muff isalso very light.

Weakness:

your car will look like a sleeper.

I'm currently using a gen1 spoon n1 muffler and i'm very satisfied with its performance. it's got a low aggressive tone at low rpm's. sound is kinda decent til the vtec kicks.

Strength:

looks...craftsmanship...

Weakness:

price is way too much for a rear section just because its made by a japanese company...

very well crafted piece of exhaust but it does not worth the money...the piping is too small for turbo applications and is only suited for stock vehicles...it is very loud and well annoy everyone around the car...ol One Time will know when you leave you house everyday when you start your car...

Strength:

It helps your car pull at high rpms, has a nice/modest idling sound. It sounds mean when you throttle it!

Weakness:

It might melt the plastic on your bumper if you don't mount it with the right exhaust hanger mounts.

Great exhaust, it's not too loud with the silencer on. You get better gains with the silencer off though. It has a nice, deep toen to it. It doesn't sound like a universal tin fart can at all! It's recommended with a Spoon b-pipe or with a custom b-pipe.

Model Reviewed: Spoon N1

Strength:

- Good HP gains - Doesnt look too agressive - Very Light - Perfect Fit - Sounsd bloody awesome - Never annoys - build Quality is superb ( better than stock)

Weakness:

- No installation manual - B-pipe is very expensive to complete the exhaust

It sounds very throwty. It has a beautiful metallic throwty sound all over. It doesnt annoy at all and if you are barely pressing the gas pedal you will barely here it. It wont castrate your ears at high revs either just that nice sound right there. It sounds deep at about 2500 and at 4000+ very deep like a serous subwoofer. Laws are VRY VERY strict here. THis exhaust is very illegal here, but the cops havent noticed it sonce its not that loud more that specific sound to it than no other has. Installation was easy, but i should have come with installation booklet. Fit perfect. and the quality is much better than OEM. The welds are more detailed cause they use the laser pointed thing. Dont buy the street muffer. It costs more less HP and doesnt look that nice... the N1 aint that LOUD. Its like a want it not to noticeable fromthe outside but it does give everything i need.... Its want on the inside that counts.

Strength:

Incridible power gains BEFORE Vtec all the way to redline. Retains midrange power for daily driving. Sounds great, and deep until vtec. Does not sound raspy. Newly released Silencer(insert type) cuts down noise to near-stock level.

Weakness:

A custom B-Pipe needed if desired, for the J-spec Spoon B-Pipes do not fit our coupe arrangemnet. Not sufficant for Turbo or Super(Perhaps mild boast, but not anything more) Expensive in the USr

This is an excellent exhaust system. I've used this for about half a year now. At first, it is very quiet, but it will break in and be louder. Not as loud as my old Tanabe Racing Medallion, but loud. Beware, if you are going turbo or Super, don't buy this exhaust. This is strictly an NA Part. The muffler hits the bumper because it is not made for the coupe's. In japan, they don't have 96-00 Civic Coupes, so the fitment is diffrent. A little bending of the hangers will lower the exhaust. Also, this exhaust looks very stock(good or bad, you decide), and will not draw attention from the cops(Unless you're hitting VTEC). A perfect component for the sleeper in you. By the way, the price is very high. In reality, it should only cost 38,000 Yen, or about $316($1 = 120 yen for example) Try to find a good deal.Y
