Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $350.00 from on web

Year / Model Reviewed:
2009 Greddy Profec B Spec2

Summary:
I purchased this for boost control on my Porsche 944 T after we rebuilt the engine.

It worked for a month and then stopped working and my boost pressure went to 25 psig whan the controller was set to 15 psig. Everything was installed correctly.

I disconnected it and questioned the US dealer about warranty for the controller. The dealer will not honor his 1 year warranty.

In my opinion, this controller is a piece of junk.

1987 mazda 323

Strengths:
holds at placed boost really well
easy to control

Summary:
well i have a 87 mazda 323 turbo and i can say that this is one of the easiest boostcontrollers i've ever delt with and the fact that its not digital is even better because my car nothin is digital either except greddy turbo timer .
bottom line is i couldn't be happier with the profec b.

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $400.00 from web

Year / Model Reviewed:
91 300zx twin turbo

Strengths:
Good with boost spike Holds boost level very well Very easy to operate Two boost levels cost

Weaknesses:
hard to tell how much to turn the boost nobs since it is not digital.

Summary:
This is a great product. I am no expert on boost controllers, but from what i see it works really well. I know basics like boost spike and how well the boost controllers hold the boost level u tell it too. So far it has never spiked (this is where you tell the controller to maintain a certain level of boost but then it goes higher for a second, then comes back down to the desired level). The profec b holds the level of boost through each gear. The only drawback is its not digital so its hard to determine how much to turn the nob to increase your boost level. Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
Hi and Lo settings. No more turbo spike.

Weaknesses:
Not cheap, I got mine used for $300.00

Summary:
1990 VW Corrado, upgraded to turbo. I ran an XS manual boost controller for 2/3 months. Boost was set at 15psi but would spike upto 18/19 psi. I got the Profec B after blowing piston # 3. Profec R is installed in a dasj "bucket" nice and discreet. NO MORE spike with Profec B. Set the Profec B at any given psi and the turbo holds that exact psi. Also Profec B has hi and lo settings. I set my lo to 10psi...daily driving and hi to 15psi. With a flick of a switch I can alternate between hi and lo. I would recommend the Profec B to anybody who is installing an after market turbo.
